What we do?

Most people are familiar with community pharmacists who
work in independent pharmacies or chains such as
Walgreens, CVS, etc.  These pharmacists prevent adverse
events from occurring by making sure patients do not take
medications with harmful interactions.

Community pharmacists are responsible for counseling and
educating patients about their prescription and
over-the-counter medications.  They provide pertinent
information on potential side effects and what is needed to
get the optimal outcome from their therapies.  Many are
expanding their roles to include administering vaccines and
managing disease management programs in areas such as
diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure.
